Title: Re: swap inyectors RS4 in 2.0 TFSI .. calculate krkte ? Post by: hammersword on June 18, 2013, 02:34:14 PM me too I have done many TFSi with RS4s.
It is not needed only the KRKATE for correct calibrating the RS4 but you have to set correctly the injectors lag and you have to fine tune the injection angle elsewhere you will have a diesel style car (black smoke from the tail pipe) Title: Re: swap inyectors RS4 in 2.0 TFSI .. calculate krkte ? Title: Re: swap inyectors RS4 in 2.0 TFSI .. calculate krkte ? Post by: ddillenger on June 23, 2013, 08:01:25 PM So you can get a smooth warmup idle on rs4s with no soot?
Not doubting you, but it seems like you'd be flooded with work if that were the case. Title: Re: swap inyectors RS4 in 2.0 TFSI .. calculate krkte ? Post by: matchew on June 23, 2013, 08:23:54 PM Its not exactly hard if you understand the ECU, how ever it is impossible to do by just changing maps.

Not doubting you, but it seems like you'd be flooded with work if that were the case. Yes, and yes i am flooded with work :D there are a handful of tuners that have these mapped correctly, i guess you are from the states and are stuck with only a few tuners that may not quite have it totally refined yet. Title: Re: swap inyectors RS4 in 2.0 TFSI .. calculate krkte ? Post by: hammersword on June 24, 2013, 04:39:30 PM You need more than 10maps to calibrate them correctly. No black smoke, no cold start issues!
If you know the MED9 logic and the DI model and if you have read the blue Bosch book about DI engines then you are ready to calibrate them correctly. It is not always right to try finding maps but you miss the theory! cheers, Fotis Title: Re: swap inyectors RS4 in 2.0 TFSI .. calculate krkte ? I give you this also as the gift. Setting this value you will work fine but you will face Cold start problems due to wrong injectors lag Black smoke from tail pipe due to wrong injection angle Recalibrate injectors lag Recalibrate injection angle Recalibrate injection pulsation correction map (final injection correction map) - Used for fine tune everything This is it and you are 99% ready to without almost any diesel style exhaust gases! A minor change for cold start in cold mornings lower than 10*C (if you want to be the perfect one) bigger MAF housing should be 101% perfect calibrate it. If it is your first time, you can put the Stock air box in the engine cheers, Fotis Title: Re: swap inyectors RS4 in 2.0 TFSI .. calculate krkte ? Title: Re: swap inyectors RS4 in 2.0 TFSI .. calculate krkte ? Post by: hammersword on July 04, 2013, 10:40:52 AM I got it from ebay 4 years ago.
If you get this book, the job is easier to understand how to recalibrate the injectors. Unfortunately it is 2013 and many people are still lost in the maps without knowledge about how a Direct Injection system works etc This blue bosch book is a must for any tuner working on Motronics! Title: Re: swap inyectors RS4 in 2.0 TFSI .. calculate krkte ? Post by: javigsi on July 04, 2013, 01:28:37 PM Thanks fotis . I are all week working in this and now car is fine . Title: Re: swap inyectors RS4 in 2.0 TFSI .. calculate krkte ? Post by: de_Fre on November 18, 2013, 10:33:12 PM Hi,
I was looking through the RS4 file that is attached in here, to compare the Injection Angles. But since I have no Damos file for RS4. Could someone confirm following things ? Start adress 1D9699 and second table 1D9737 8x20 table in 8 bit Factor 0.75 x Eprom +240 I have not found any axis yet. Should be the RPM / Air Intake Mass I guess ? Can anyone point me out the aproximate (or exact) location of the axes ? As far as I can see now, Injection start angle is quite a bit lower on RS4 than it is on TFSI. (300 iso 310 at low rpm, 360-370 iso 420 at high rpm) and Closing angle difference is way more pronounced. 120° iso 50° at high rpm. As I haven't tried. Concerning the Flap removal. Do you just check which diagnostics are run (item after LBKSOL in FR) and set them accordingly in order to remove Flap Runner faults and the Check engine light ? Will removing the codewords on its own cure the bad coldstarts ? or is more needed ? Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Title: Re: swap inyectors RS4 in 2.0 TFSI .. calculate krkte ?
