Title: ME7Sum problems
Post by: ratherb1 on October 14, 2014, 06:35:05 AM
We have a long way to go, but I think it'll be worth it.

Everyone:

Download the xdf, tell me how it can be made easier to understand. The goal here is to make this more approachable and limit confusion.

just trying to figure this out everytime i uncheck these switches (sai,02s,ect) i get me7sum errors.......i set everything back to stock and get no errors........what gives?   using Lbox

If you make a change, the checksums for the file have to be recalculated.

i thought me7 sum will fix these errors ....on one file all i did was make boost a little higher and i got 2 uncorrected errors , and on another i just applied the emmisions deletes, same errors  ....am i missing something? ......

I have no idea what you are trying to do.

You have to give ME7Sum the name of an output file name if you want it to do anything. Please reread the instructions for how to use ME7Sum.

I have split this from the community project thread to avoid cluttering it.

thanks .....no need for the smite though kind of childish ..... i was under the impression that if you just press enter it outputs to the same path as the one testing

RUNNING:

To check image.bin:

  ME7Check image.bin
  me7sum image.bin

To output corrected checksums:

  me7sum image.bin out.bin

It would be bad if something went wrong and me7sum changed the original file.. you'd no longer have a copy...
