Title: 2.7T reduced power Post by: majsterx on September 30, 2015, 01:32:56 AM Hello friends, my car have much reduced power.
Engine is ARE and i measure about 50PS lower. Tune or not maximum boost is about 0.4b, and strictly catch it, without any oscillation. But... sure there is problem with EGT sensor. Have two or only one sensor ? (one error) EGT in log have one value (945*C ? im not sure now) so it's possible dropping boost and fuel ? Is using for protect and diagnostic or only diagnostic ? maybe better remove it from ecu Title: Re: 2.7T reduced power Post by: IamwhoIam on September 30, 2015, 05:25:44 AM Yes, remove the EGT sensor in the ECU and then go do a log as high as you can reach in 6th gear on the Autobahn please.

Genuinely just followed your advice and did a pull to the limiter in 6th and my engine has seized. What the fuck dude. If you put a small ladder in the backseat, you'll be able to reach much higher. Maybe batter idea will be change RPM limiters to 10k and then log it. Thanks for you advice. I decided repair both. Not much cost because i repair it by myself. Sure there is a biggest problem. They don't read until egt's exceed 945C, so seeing a flat 945 is normal and nothing to be concerned with. |
