Title: How to identify if wideband equipped from software side? Post by: aef on January 18, 2016, 01:22:08 AM Hi,
friend of mine bought a TT 8n with AUM engine. Car has two O2s which usually means front O2 is wideband. Thats where this question came to my mind. So as a rule of thumb if i only have the software available: If read O2 in Eskonf = Wideband ??? Is this true and/or are there better ways to identify how many O2s a car has? However, to identify how many from the binary: CWKONLS Code word in % PROKON : Sensors present upstream of the catalyst ---> Bank1: B lsv by Bit 0 = 1 Bank2: B lsv2 by Bit 4 = 16 (gives 17 as the sum) Sensors present downstream of the catalyst --> Bank1: B lsh by bit 1 = 2 Bank2: B lsh2 by bit 5 = 32 (gives 34 as the sum) For all 4 installed seensors: CWKONLS = 51 00110011 NA/NA B2R/B2F NA/NA B1R/B1F 00 11 00 11 00000001=Just Bank1 front (4cyl)------>CWKONLS=1 no rear 00010001=Bank 1 and 2 front (v6/v8)--->CWKONLS=17 no rear Title: Re: How to identify if wideband equipped from software side? (Cars with a real egt sensor) Or do wideband cars exist without an egt sensor too?

032HN and derivated is a good example for wideband without egt probe i think Title: Re: How to identify if wideband equipped from software side? Post by: fknbrkn on January 18, 2016, 02:56:44 AM all ive seen 1.8t binaries
1024kb wideband 512kb not Title: Re: How to identify if wideband equipped from software side? Post by: ddillenger on January 18, 2016, 03:51:02 AM all ive seen 1.8t binaries 1024kb wideband 512kb not There is a 512kb 1.8t beetle binary. The 12v vr6 is also 512kb and wideband. |
