Central convenience did not like this, alarm going off with untrained key, entertaining after threeish starts had to disconnect battery  Cheesy

I think that's why. I have a feeling this only works with a trained key to the Instrument cluster. you still have to have a matched key, all this is doing is allowing you to start the car and to let a different ecu work in the car. I, sure if you matched to key to the immob you wouldn't get the alarm going off.
