I am trying to figure out what activate big brake warning on VDO 2001 CAN-BUS cluster.
If I discconect ESP/ABS there is a still ABS MIL and brake warning.
Is it possible to code out this from cluster. And is it acrivate only by bremse 1 CAN signal?

Signal from ABS/ESP and from only starts that big red brake sign on FIS , I have a bench setup and I connected those pins to +12V or ground ( don't remember exactly but I can check than ) and It dissapears

I figure out, I cut can-BUS wires from ESP unit, then brake warning did not show on cluster
After that I cut violet wire from ESP unit and ESP waring from cluster did not show up
Still i got ABS light on dash,, but I can live with that
If I cut ABS wire to cluster gelb/red then again I got warning and big brake sign on cluster

you should go with 12V or ground on pin from ABS - don't remember to be for sure

Grounding ABS wire(gelb/rot) did the trick, thank you very much Grin
