Okay... i did read the post twice you linked to but i don´t understand the logging program.
i downloaded the ME7Logger_DIST_02042012_v1.17 and ME7Logger_GUI v1.5 and did copy the folder and so on...
Then when i start the GUI it want´s the ECU.bin file... and that´s where it stops for me, because i don´t have the tuned file, just an original.
You don't need the tuned file to make ECU.bin, the original .bin should work fine.
