Hi
My friend has a big problem with boost in 1.8T 150hp tuned to 260km - k04@380cc injectors, ic etc.
ECU set WG duty cycle to 0% in ALL CONDITIONS, there is no dtc stored in memory,
ecu request 1.2bar from k04, but actual is only 0.5bar (with 0% N75 WG DC)
Check for leaks.
Check dv
Check pcv valve.
Breather valve.
Temp colant sensor - replaced - and read 92C.

Also the SAI and N249 is out , and they are changed to resistors, and there is no dtc.

Fuel trims are idle 0.2 and partial about 3.6 %

Try to clear codes, try to adapt ecu on 00 block to reset ecu adaptation.  But WG DC never go over 0% !

There is no CR, and also there is no misfires.

I have no ideas what is going on ?

What do You think about  this ?

pedal acc position and throttle plate was loged , 100% during WOT....

what else could bring 0% WG DC ?

114 block in last column have WG duty cycle.

we also check fuel pressure it was 3.1b on WOT with boost 0.5bara, so fuel pump is dead , but WG DC aren't affected directly with bad fuel pressure...

I started to think that soft in ecu mess something.... we unplug maf , and there is no dtc stored in ecu.... maybe tuner blocked dtcs or..... ecu is dyieing ?

Can you get ME7L logs?

Log ldtv if you can.

phlia_dot unfortunately i can't get me7l logs....

but I could do any vcds logs what you want.

It is very odd case. I have never before search problem so long, always found the solution, but this time.... i have no ideas what to do next....

I suspect B_ldb isn't set.

Diagnosis would be very easy with ME7L.

IIRC the cause would be throttle (B_dknolu) or N75 (E_lde).

NEW info
I get the info - in this ECU there is implementation of boost by gear.
on 1 gear ECU cut the N75 to 0%
but the ECU thinks that car always go on first gear, we check vss , and the ecu see the vehicle speed, so i don't have idea what is wrong ?

How ecu determine gear ? Vss and rpm  ?
Few days ago we get dtc 18056  powertrain bus data - failure - intermittent. so probably  there is some problem in ABS ECU i think...
We will check can bus , and we also plan to check abs dtc, abs wheel speed sensor and so on...

Boost by gear works by limiting torque request for desired air charge, so desired load is limited not WGDC.

Try setting TVLDMN to 10. If WGDC still remains 0 then that confirms B_ldb never sets.

Found problem , now solved , car runs great !

Problem was cooked ECU , no signal to n75 - also n75 didn't respond in output test.  New ecu solved problem Smiley
