Can anti-jerk cause jerking?

Anti-jerking works by reducing timing right?

Is there another way of turning it off other than upper/lower treshold or tmot? Couldn't find these maps on a m5.92

I don't have any more info on ME5x though Sad sorry.  The maps for anti-jerk are on the Wiki.  The whole concept is that if it's tuned properly, it won't cause an issue.  Disabling all the maps is just a fudge.

I think I found it. Removed the jerkiness at part throttle and some idle issues that could've been related. Need to do further tests (specifically a cold morning start).

Deka 870cc 1.8t AEB.

Fixed idle bounce (happens when revs are dropping from a higher rpm), hesitation when stepping on throttle coming off idle and part throttle jerkiness

1. Added idle ignition timing 600 rpm set to 13.5 (Original was 12 to -3), 800rpm and 1000rpm set 12 (original was 12 to 2.5).
2. Added back some accel enrich at 800 and 1000rpm
3. Turned off (i think) anti-jerk by setting TMLWSD to FF (Engine temp threshold to 143C from -48C)

Maps for M592 557P (not entirely sure these maps are for Anti-jerk though, USE WITH CAUTION)

TMLWSD (Engine temperature threshold for load change shock damping Motortemperaturschwelle für Lastwechselschlagdämpfung) = 6F53 and 6F61

VLWSD (Speed threshold for load change shock damping Geschwindigkeitsschwelle für Lastwechselschlagdämpfung) = 6F52 and 6F60
