pvl - yes , i flash cg box on bench with cg file via mpps and work like a charm !

but as i said , i have spare 018R box , which i would like to test - write CG file on 018R box ,
i still don't understand why we have to copy cg eeprom immo to 018r box ?
in me7.5 we could crossflash without cloning immo , test many times,  is me3.83 different ?

if i understand good - im me3.8x the flash  (018cg or 018R) version is matched to immo eeprom ? and thats why we need also to copy immo dump when changing flash from 018cg to 018cj/018r etc. ?

so vcds ecu swapping procedure after crossflashing without immo cloning won't help me ? only immo and flash copy when crossflashing files in me3.8x?

I thought you originally had a CG-ecu in your car. The quickest way to be able to swap ecu's out, is to clone the immochip also, or to
make it immo-off. You can try to crossflash it, and see if it works. This is not for all M3.8.3 ecu's possible, due to hardware-differences
(cruisecontrol-equipped car's ecu's have more components inside).

Just test and report back what your findings are. One cannot really go very much wrong...

Cheers,

i will try in the meantime and post results Smiley

also i don't understand why immo off me 3.83 ? it has simple immo2 , so after swap only vagcom/vcds 10 adaptation 00 read save and you have immo matched to the new(used) ecu http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/immobilizer2.html

read-out immochip with monoscan, and reflash the flasrom of the R-ecu, and you have a GENUINE cloned CG ecu.
Cheers Wink
Hello, can you tell from where we can get monoscan and what cables it use?

Sorry for bumping this, can someone tell in what KFLF in M38 and M59 results? AFR?
In original-map it goes from 0,9 to 1,3 (when im right with the factors), which wouldn´t really makes sense that it goes lean in higher loads? I took the fact 0,007813, maybe I missed something?

Is it more correction for injection time? If´ve seen few maps where it was set higher in high loads..

Would be nice if someone could guide me in the right direction, before doing trying and error...
