Old thread I know. I had success bench flashing with Galletto 1260 and silver and blue ebay FTDI cable after changing the serial number in .exe file with hex editor at 0249E90.

How did you know that ID/serial nummer was at offset 0249E90 Huh

So I copied over the data to the galleto exe and it notices my cable, but when I try boot mode it fails? Has anybody got a genuine vcds cable to work with galleto? I have it working with me7 logger and vcds. I have the VCP drivers installed too.

The serial number is likely RT000001

Yes, I inserted that into the galleto exe. I open galleto and it notices the cable but it says bootmode failed?

No issues. Note that I am using the VCP drivers, and galletto may not recognize it if it isn't on COM1 or COM2
