Can or Can't defeat immo 1,2 or 3 with Nefmoto??

Following a argument on the VWVortex about defeating the immo, I was sure that it would be possible using Nefmoto software(I think on a bench flash??)
But now for the record:
Can you defeat the immo(either 1,2 or 3) using the Nefmoto software, yes or no??
And secondly: IF it can be done, would making a DIY be reasonable??

no. nefmoto only reads/writes flash, not eeprom.

Ok, so that's clear now...
What software/cable CAN read the Eeprom, and HOW to perform the immo defeat, does anyone know?

most universal method is to use a test clip/desolder and use a programmer.
