Hi all im very new to all this mapping and kinda scared i dont want to kill the ecu if i do something worng so what do i need to do any help would be great here is what im trying to achaive

Fit the Audi 4.2 Petrol BFM Engine and The 6 speed tiptronic gearbox from a 2004/5 Audi A8

i would like to remove as much as possible of the wiring

Items i want to keep from the Audi are the following

Instrument Cluster
Gearbox
Engine
Paddle shift

what i want to know is how to remove the bcu/bcm and maximum amount of wires Cheesy

Start looking through wiring diagrams.
ECU immo off is easy. If you are lucky the box doesn't have immo yet... if you are unlucky, it does.

mine is on a 2004/05 plate i get some photos of the ecu its self if this will help with knowing if it has immo ??

Correct.

the tcu i been reading online some say its under the carpet drive side uk ? some say under wipers and some say in the gearbox oil pan can anyone tell me where it is located !

You have 6hp so its in the gearbox
