Hello, I am in progress of swapping 1.8t (engine code AWT) to another chassis. I need to work around analogue RPM signal to tacho and check engine signal. I found that I can use pin 37 for RPM signal and pin 47 for check engine light but this info is for transverse mounted  engines.
My ecu number is 4b0906018dh, and what i get from pinout is i don't even have cable on pin 47, and pin 37 is used to A/C system. I tried to search for info on the web, but found nothing. Maybe someone can help me before I get oscilloscope and check all the pins in ecu?

Thanks. According to that, analog RPM output is still there on pin 37. I also found in 2000 Audi A4 wiring diagram that 47 should be check engine light and 48 epc light. Will try and check. Thanks!

Yup, rpm on pin 37, check engine on pin 47 - ecu grounds it when mil is on. Everything works fine.
