Nobody has tuned this shit because it's a waste of time.
But what I can give you is a tip for the process.

Start by getting a diagnostic tool and actually logging and quantifying things.
You can log pedal position and throttle plate angle vs RPM.

After you modify something, log this again.
Right now you are modifying random shit without doing a single measurement.
So how the hell do you expect to get anywhere?

Same with your "throttle lag". Could just as well be a physical limitation. The answer is simply logging pedal position vs throttle position then mashing the pedal to the floor.
Most likely there's not even 0.2 sec of delay between the pedal and the throttle going WOT.

I was playing with those ecus sometime ago with ida after ols lineswap
Trying to trace it with known canbus interface but unable to locale messages id so no result here

It could be achieved with ECU and logging ram cells, trace em etc
Boring and time consuming routine, not worth it at all

I understand your point about the waste of time, however this car is in an excellent condition and I quite like it, I love the simplicity. Also I do not give up easily, the task seemed simple at the beginning, doing this on a 1.8T is a matter of minutes. I had no idea the documentation will be 100 and 0 (really zero, it is all do it yourself). And you always learn something in the process... Of course I would grab 1.8t if there was one in such condition but they do not exist any more.

Thanks for your comments. Im almost done with this crappy ecu. Tried modifying the map blindly and even after such guess the car is much easier to drive.
