02 sensors for ME7.1 and ME7.1.1
« on: March 04, 2024, 08:00:32 AM »
I have put 02 sensors from ME7.1.1 on ME7.1
I can see 02 voltage and it looks normal, but fuel trims does not work. And I get error
Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: No Activity
Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B2 S1: No Activity
They have different 02 plug, but 02 sensors schoud be same or?

I have no logs because I have a boost gauge (makes things easier)

Are you sure one isn't LSU4.2 and the other LSU4.9?

Sorry for lack of information, I forget that there is a so many variants od ME7.1.1
In my case I am talking about 2.7 TT engines
ECU is ME7.1 AMX 2.8 N/A, and probes are from M7.1.1 BEL
They are both narowband only they have different connector.
When I say normal voltage that mean it folows what my external afr gauge show( when it is lean voltage is below 0.45 V goes to 0.1V and when it is rich it goes to 0.9.
It show normal voltage depend how engine work like any other narowband probe

There are many different types of narrowband sensors.
Buy the correct ones for your engine and don't waste time.

Problem was wrong set up for rear O2 off. I accidentally turned off diagnostic for front 02.
Now trims are working and no more DTC
