Im not sure but galletto cant read me7 outside bootmode.
Try to use me7flasher with your galletto cable.
You need to remove the cluster fuse before read or write.

Use a cheap Blue ebay Vag com cable, Download the Nefmoto software . Chose from Devices your Serial-->USB cable , then go to KWP2000 flashing , Choose memory layout "29F400" , then press Full read Flash.

Removing the cluster fuse is a good idea if you still have problems.

Not true.. Galletto works fine via obd on most me7 ecus

I have had issues though with the apx Ecu and galletto but mpps (clone or not) worked fine

Open the fuse box inside the cabin You can see the panel when you open the driver`s door.
Remove the plastic ,search for the Cluster fuse.Usually there are 2 fuses ,since you are not sure which fuse ,
remove them both.

If still is a no go ( I had as similar expirience with a BAM TT , couldn`t read it no matter what ) you have to BOOT your ECU,search the wikis and you will find info

Hello

I am very happy! I have read my TT 8N APX ECU!

I have tasted 4 hours long yesterday with my new MPPSv13 cable.
cable has not worked.
fuse for Dashboard put out - no go
fuse put in - no go
fuse control unit (there are 4 pieces) put out - no go

important for all who want to read the APX ECU:
Read the ECU works only with a cable MPPS
- fuse for Dashboard put out (only this one)
- Turn on key
- listening that the petrol pump does not run
- fuse plug in
Reading works!

Thank all for help !

my file is here atatched
according to my previous owners this is tuned of 265 hp
1.3 bar boost pressure
(with my Iphone-DashCmd I have 250hp measured)

somebody please a XDF for me
the published here are not for APX ECU from 1999

Thank very much

one more question - MPPS program corrects the checksum correct?
