It already had the immo off but I wrote another to it to be sure.

I did think about weather it needed the throttle body alignment or idle adjustment done with vcds

Odd, sounds a lot like immo stopping the engine. Are there any fault codes?

Didnt scan it as i was getting frustrated as i had to walk back and forth from my house to garage to check it on the car 4 times after re-flashing.

I had another issue were on VCDS in engine it wouldnt bring up the ecu number it was just saying THIS-IS which i belive would be THIS-IS-THE-RAM-MEMORY whihc made me think somthing was scrambled?

Its a standard chip on the bored so not sure hwo it would scramble anything.

Its now not doing that after a reflash but still the start issue

That may well be the problem! I always immo off the file I read from the ecu, rather than using a generic one. Post up the ori EEPROM and the immo off one

Use the version in the .zip, you need all the files in that zip in the same directory as the tool.
