Trying to log for the first time with Me7. I have been through the ECU files for my B5 S4. It is currently running an OTS K04 tune from EPL.

Below are the screen shots that I am getting with the first being the engine control from VCDS.

Second shot from Me7, tracked down a different file after this.

Last run. I can't find this file. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Try taking a stock file, change the software id's to what your file has, calc checksums, and generate an ecu file from that.

You'll have to manually change the EngineId in the ecu def file... a real problem with ME7L, it is really picky for some dumb reason... which means it won't log ECUs that have modified EngineIds.

dumb, i know...
