Bosch 0 261 200 484 (or 895 907 404 BA) seems broken, some transistor ?
« on: March 23, 2016, 07:36:13 AM »
Hi guys,
My local mechanic asked me if I could repair a broken ecu he had:
Bosch 0 261 200 484 (or 895 907 404 BA)
He told me that most likely some transistors are dead now because customer tried to start the car with some (charger?) equipment attached.
I did some research and indeed sometimes a transistor or something similar can die (which is used to generate the spike for the bobine?).
Does anyone have any info on this subject?
What part(s) are usually broken in this situation?
Or would it be better (cheaper) to buy a used ecu and transfer immo data?
Thanks for any info,
