I didn't play with it much, but to some extent you can manipulate ABS/etc behavior by altering CAN packets that are sent by the engine control unit. Or by changing the way ECU interprets incoming packets from ABS. Check FR %CAN module for packets description, presuming we're talking about ME7.

EDIT: what I did try - emulate "TCU present" CAN messages by the means of engine control unit for the RS6 C5 MT conversion.

I'm interested in the actaul ABS module flash. I want to disassemble and recalibrate or even write custom code. Specifically for the ELD behavior of the T1 Touareg.
