Hello, guys!
I need some help. I have 2005 audi a3 8p. I do have the 5 digit SKC and i try to adapt a new-used key to the immo. I`m following the rosstech manual. I login to 25-Immobilizer, then security access and put the SKC and its all fine, then i go to adaptation and channel 01, i set it to 0 and save, then i set 2 - save and go back. On the dash i see 1/2 in the right display. Then when I insert the new-used key(with new id48 transponder) i get the SAFE on dash and the light continues to blink. When checking the measurement blocks with the new key i got this:

ddress 25: Immobilizer  (8P0 920 930 R)

21:17:07 Group 001: System Status
  No  Engine Start permitted
  Yes  Engine (ECU) responds
  Yes  Key Status OK
  1.0  Number of adapted Keys

21:17:07 Group 002: Key && Adaptation Status
  No  Variable Code authorized
  No  Key Status (Transponder Lock)
  No  Fixed Code authorized
  6.0  Immobilizer Status

As i understand, the key is OK and the transponder is unlocked, so it should work. I have tried with two different id48 chips, all CAN prepared for audi, the result is the same. I do have vag commander 1.4 but im not sure if it will work better. Do you have any suggestions what am i doing wrong?

I believe those keys need to be prepared with a key programmer before you can match them to the car.  Also I don't think you need to save the value of 0, just put in the number of keys you want to program.

Do you have a key that was programmed to the car previously?  Try programming each key 1 at a time to confirm it is a key problem and to isolate it to one key.

The value in field 3 must be Yes. If value is No, the key is not capable of being adapted to Immobilizer.

i bought the tp25 can programmed for audi, from 2 different sellers. if i try to learn keys with not adapted key, i cant - it wont allow me. i`ve read the procedure, the value is yes as in my log, the lock times are all 0. I can readapt the original key every time, and every time i put the new key it says "SAFE" and the glow lamp continues to flash. i need someone who did it and know a seller who can sell me a good transponder.

Aef was referring to mvb 2 field 3. Its not a bad transponder, as I said you need to pre-program it before you match it to the car.  You'll need the component security bytes or you could buy a key from audi to program which will already be pre-programmed.  Its not just a matter of being a tp25 it needs specific info from your car.   That is why the original key is able to be programmed.   Google "precoding tp25 transponder" or  "preprogramming tp25 transponder and you'll find a lot of info.  Finding someone to do it is much harder.  Buying a key from Audi may be your cheapest option at this time.

If you have TP25 and programming by diagnostic, must have dealer key. Only TP25 without prepared not work.
