Hello Guys Cool,

Yesterday i introduced my self and tried to start with the great NefMoto software. After some late hours in the night i got a successful dump Smiley
But now im stuck at the next step I was searching the forum for a map for my car but I think I got a weird ecu model Tongue
Here I have the ecu information and my ecu dump attached (I think its original) I wanted to remap because tomorrow Im going to install a ‘ta technik performance manifold’ and ta ‘ta chnik downpipe decat’ Smiley
I hope a smart tuner can help me as beginner.. Roll Eyes Grin

Reading Version Strings...
-> Bootrom Version = 05.12
-> EPK = 42/1/ME7.5/5/4019.00//F21e3/Dst04o/180200/
-> Contents of ECUID data table:
   - '0261206439'         (SSECUHN)
   - '1037354510'         (SSECUSN)
   - '8N0906018Q  '       (VAG part number)
   - '0004'               (VAG sw number)
   - '1.8L R4/5VT     '   (engine id)
-> Contents of ECUID data table:
   - 'HW_MAN004'

Greatings and thanks, Chase!

You need to find a 180hp file that is well defined like 032HS or other. Most transverse 1.8t files will match your car. Make sure the "Bootrom Version = 05.12" is found in the new BIN you plan to flash on there. Tunerpro will need a map pack and matching bin. Then follow the 1.8T community tune as for what to modify. LDRXN, LAMFA will be where you start.

For the decat, check the S4wiki as itll be your go to guide for most things. If you keep the post cat sensor installed its quite easy. The xdf provided has these variables defined and set them to 0.

correct the checksums before reflashing to your car and always keep the file you read off your car as a back up. If you were able to find an .xdf (map pack) for your 018q file that would also be an easy route.
