figured it all out...couldn't find just one tool I saw before, found it, switched immo off, changed vin, checksums corrected automatically, started car...checked codes, erased codes, shut off car, read the ecu flash, saved it to my pc, flashed a seemingly stock GLI.bin, started car, still have same code, but runs, revs, and boosts like a stock car now! code I am getting has something to do with internal pressure/altitude sensor and a map sensor fail...I wonder if my car has a 4bar sensor and the ecu can't tell with a stock flash. anyways, yall were bussin on me and all it took was a single post somewhere that led me to the eepromtool I was looking for....
The OP didn't specify this tool wasn't for eeprom dumps, that's where I was having issues.

http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=6134.15 is exactly the EXAMPLE I was searching for..none of the other threads I have read had as concise an example as this post did. You would have way fewer n00bs asking questions if you changed your OP in your threads to the extent of that example. The other threads say what you need and give broad commands, but none with the exact cmd line a person should use. I do understand you keep it that way for the real winners out there, but for us that are smart, but not versed, it is a bit frustrating when constantly getting dogged on instead of a simple answer. You run a forum, it's part of the job.
Thank you, have a nice day. Now to read the S4 Wiki 10 more times.
