Ok so I was able to adapt the ecu using other tools.apr software won't work unless you use a true serial cable.

I am experiencing a different problem. The car bucks like crazy when in sixth gear when accelerating or slowing down. But only in 6th gear.Could this be because the ecu I got came out of a 5 speed manual car??I doubt it.Just looking to see if it has anything to do with the ecu.Ecu ends in ak the original was a bc.Anyone??

Nothing much got it resolved.Reflashed ecu to a BC 0040 software level then reloaded the ape flash works like a charm.
