	program not responding? « on: November 03, 2011, 10:11:00 AM »

well downloaded NefMoto program ok & it even recognises my VagCom cable however it then freezes! I get "this program is not responding" & in fact I cant even close it without rebooting the computer.
Any ideas?
(Im running Vista,43GB free space)

No problems on vista here, no compatabilty tweaks or anything.

Is your cable in dumb mode?

Does VCDS work?

Are you trying to connect to the ECU or just opening the program and plugging in your cable?

how do I set cable to dumb mode? Yes VCDS works fine - (latest download, official Ros-tech version)
No, havent plugged into OBD port yet, should I do that before connecting to laptop?

So the NefMoto software will open properly, but then it freezes after you plug the VagCom cable in?

Which version of the NefMoto software are you using?
