I extracted just the 2.7 engines from the file.

I would like to use this file to make a cross reference table. All this talk about 'boxes' and their letters needs some 'structure' for my understanding. Since most are S4 references, I would like to group all 'similar boxes' together, weather they are from an S4, A6 or Allroad. Looking up my current ECU number should tell me what other files may fit and what 'donor' cars they can be found in.

Please add to the file any missing cars and 'boxes', and add the transmission type and model years.

what vehicle did it come out of? Check the pinout of your vehicle vs the pinout of the donor vehicle. If that's the same, take it apart and verify it has the same hardware. After that, just program the immobilizer (or delete it) and you shouldn't have an issue.

At least that's the direction I'd take...
