Good afternoon everyone. I have searched the deepest places of the internet and I can't find KFMIZUOF for the 1.8T AWM 4B0906018CH. I'm having boost tapering issues with my wife's car and the only thing I can think is happening is torque intervention. My Wife's car's spec's are AWM in a 99 A4, K04 hybrid, 3" turbo back exhaust, and FMIC. I haven't gotten ME7 logger working yet or I would post logs. I can screenshot VCDS If that helps. basically boost starts to taper after 4500RPM and all the maps I've modified (should be asking for 19psi. LDRXN, KFMIRL, KFLDHBN is maxed out, LDIATA is flat, KFLDLULS is maxed out...)So I'm out of Ideas. any help would be amazing.

As pointed out to you in the other thread, KFMIZUOF will not help you.

In fact, it is pointless to go further until you can log torque intervention variables.

Start with that. DO NOT RANDOMLY MAX OUT MAPS

You are taking entirely the wrong approach.

How much larger is the turbo over stock?

Has nothing to do with torque intervention.

I know. He said his boost starts to taper after 4500. This is how it is on a stock turbo. I was under the impression he thought because he requests 19 psi he should get 19 psi which isn't the case, again if he still has the stock turbo..

Nyet, Sorry I didn't see your replay in that other post. I was maxing out maps as a process of elimination. Like I said im kind of a noob. I will look in to getting ME7 logger working asap and get back to you guys. and the turbo is a K04-15 hot side and a K04-25 cold side so it flows a little more than a standard K04.

Log wastegate duty if you're having a hard time meeting requested.

Boost go's up to Requested until 4500rpm then it starts to request less boost so that's what I'm trying to figure out. since I haven't gotten ME7 logger working I started raising and maxing out maps and logging in VCDS to see if I could find the map that was dropping requested boost. I'm at work now so tonight ill see if I can get ME7 logger working on my old laptop.

Definitely just get me7 logger working. There's a good video on youtube showing you how to set it up.

On this forum for the limited time I've been on here I've seen that you need to help yourself, before asking for others to help. People will help out if you've put in the leg work and ask specific questions.

In short get me7 logger working and come back with the logs.

Thanks Ill look for it. This issue Is the first time I've ever had to ask for help. I've done everything so far just by reading past posts. I had the last engine that was In the car(99 AEB with 8D0907557P) running 16psi with great fueling and timing. But This wideband ecu Isn't playing ball with me. I've never even opened my own thread in any forum before but I cant seem to figure this out so Im looking for advise. I walk away from the car for a week to clear my mind and now I'm back at It. Ill let you guys know If I get ME7 logger working so I can start posting logs.

Soooo, I never got ME7 logger working(probably do to my old ass laptop) but I finally figured out want was happening. It had to do with the VVT cam change over, I switched CDNWS to 0 and it's now running requested boost all the way to redline!  Grin I couldn't be happier!... thanks to everyone who listened to me being a n00b trying to figure it out.

That makes no sense.

It does when kfzw2 has more timing and engine retard 10 deg. Ignition and limit RL. ;-)
