Hi everyone. I came across this site and read through most of the cluster swaps etc.. and looks like you guys know what you are doing. I need help with adapting 2004 MK4 r32 cluster into my 2005.5 MK4 gti. I have both pin numbers and when i follow the vag com instructions it says system not ok instead showing vin...etc. I have access to vag com and vag tacho. Any help would be really appreciated.
Thank you.

sorry i posted in the wrong area first.

Hi. Thanks for replaying. I have both pins from both clusters and when i try to adopt the r32 cluster in channel 50 under adaptation menu in VCDS it gives me system not ok instead reading my vin etc..

If you have a cable I would use vagcommander and download both cluster file and manually swap the pins and immo Id and vin, you can also swap the key information too
