hey all,

i have a CEL that keeps poping for ABS and Airbag modules not present. i have disabled all options per my can-bus gateway, but this is in my engine ecu, not the canbus.

does anyone know what address and what to change them to iin order to disable either the ecu looking for the modules, or disable the ecu from reporting an error?

car does not have abs nor airbags...its a 1.8t swap into a mk3... full me7.5 harness tho.

Thanks in advaced?

CW_CAN_R and/or CW_CAN_C most likely.

The flash is the same before and after writing to the car and throwing codes. It never changes on it's own. I have the locations for this, I'll take a look in a bit.

Set these two location to 00 in your file.

0x107A7
0x10802

Don't forget to checksum before flashing.

I would add, please do not zero out anything on someone's advice until you understand WHY you are doing it ... please at least take a peek at the FR before blinding changing things Smiley

Thank you.

hey all,

i recently made a post asking someone to help me code out my abs and airbags.. now i need to delete a dtc, not the system, just the dtc( its a swap and still want the system activated as i only need the cel off for inspection( yes just the light off, readyness doesn't matter).

I read the sticky above, but i don't think it corrisponds to my ecu files.( 06A 906 032 SM )

SO is there anyone someone can explain( as direct as possible) how to find the dtc, turn it off( i image change to "00"?) and if i wanted to find the system it correspond to if i did want to try to disable the system?

or atleast just how to find the dtc and turn it off? i have the maps for it, but still dont understand how to loacate these thing)

Im trying to lern, but im a lern by example kind of guy, sorry..

thanks in advaced, if you can take a few to explain it! thanks

Here is my file, and the maps im using
