2.7 biturbo 512kb ecu
« on: October 23, 2016, 11:40:21 AM »
Hello.
I have a A6 with the AJK 2.7tt engine with ecu 4B0907551E and auto. But the ecu is fried, and I have to get a used one.
Can I buy a 1mb from a another A6 2.7tt and use that, the deal here is that the engine is going in to a another car, with manual gearbox and no abs/esp.
Thanks, Joakim

Yes but you need to program ecu correctly for esp ect. Also you need to know if your maf is and program ecu accordingly. I might be missing a couple things but this should get you up and running.

Also your topic says 512? You're a 1mb file

http://nyet.org/cars/files/stock/part-numbers.txt
it is a 512 ecu, and it have a am29f400bt installed in it.
I have bosch MAF. is it possible also to use another bin file from another ecu? and s4 file?

You can use any 512k file in that ecu, or buy another ecu (512k or 1mb) and flash it with your ORI or your ORI doubled up to 1m
Or run a bosch file (1m) from another ecu
Or run a hitachi file (1m) from another ecu and copy the MAF maps over.
you will likely need to perform an engine coding via VCDS unless you match ecu/file 1:1

Didn't know there was a 2.7t with a 512mb? Is that only in Europe?
