hey all,

im just wondering if the same things that pertain to the s4 m box stage 3 tune would apply to a 1.8t stage 3 tune? as far as what maps to change and what not. im aware that a stag 3 for an s4 is very different than for a 1.8t... just wanted to know if it would be a useful avenue to explore as far as learning what and how much to tweak certain maps for a stage 3 tune... thanks !

Yes, it is absolutely applicable.

what you mean by st3 ?

Sorry, I guess that is quite vague. T3 50 trim, .63 hot side
440cc injectors
255 pump
Vr6 3" maf housing.
3 or 4 bar for
Maf for now

Any pointers on where to stArt? I'm going to start pouring through the s4 wiki with s4 stg3 tune as a reference point, but as far as pointers, I mean what to adjust little by litte to get going.

Like adjust maf scaling?
Requested lambda
Boost tables( requested, max req, pid's)
Timing?

I'm still learning, I only got here about 2 months ago, and while I have my k03s stage 2( typical boltons and wmi and aggressive tune) running what I think is almost perfect, there's a big difference between small changes in maps for a ko3, and the potential for error on a bt setup.

So any simple pointers on what to start with would be much appreciated. I have a hard time reading through complicated explanations of thing the first few times because I'm dyslexic, so simple explation make it easier when I re read the complicated answers.

Thanks in advanced for the help and the patience!

Copy vr6 mlhfm map for maf. Look up the part number for your injectors and find the data on your injectors. Find the battery voltage injection table and input the correct data into tvub map. Calculate krkte for new injector size easy way to get you close is just a simple  cross multiplication equation current Krkte x injector size = x.    X/new injector size = new Krkte starting point. That will give you correct maf scale and injectors close enough to get it running and driving. Use long term fuel trims to dial in Krkte. That's a starting point for you.
