Hi guys,

hope somebody can help me out here.  Trying to figure out what 7.1.1 ECU part numbers might be hardware compatible with 022906032eg?  I have a few other 022906032 base part number ECUs, however I cant seem to get the eeprom and flash to boot up on the bench on any of them.  I know my files are valid, flashed them back to the original ecu and it boots up fine, so I'm sure its an issue of clock speed or other hardware incompatibility between the boxes.

its slim pickings on ebay for this exact part number, just trying to figure out what else I can use to clone it to.

thanks.

I run a 022906032bm ecu with r32 software on it, I have also tried an 04 toureg ecu 022906032ft and that is a no go, it seems there are hardware differences on the board.

Just an fyi... the 022906032eg is flashable thru OBD port and the 022906032bm is a boot only flashable. I have flashed at least 10 r32s Thru OBD no problem but can not flash 2.8 24v, even after the r32 software is on the ecu. So that may be a factor  for you.

its funny you mention 032FT, its precisely the ecu I couldn't get to work.  I found an 032BM for not very much money.  Since you know that will cross its an easy choice for me to grab that one.  Thanks!!!

I have flashed a Me7.1.1 Bora VR6 2.8L through the OBD port using KessV2 and MPPS without issues. The file on the ECU was a 032BJ
