Hi,

I'm suspecting my ECU for frying front o2 and have a spare 8N0906018K. Is orignal software in 8N0906018J compatible with the K box? Is making a clone of the J box as easy as copying eeprom data from J to K box?

K box is from a 2002 TT with BAM 225.
J box from a 2002 S3 with AMK 210.
Both engines have VVT and should be mechanically identical afaik.

not VVT No wideband lambda etc
512k
018j 1024k file size and audi s3

not compatible 2 file

Thanks for the info. Just realised I have made a mistake.
ECU is 8N0906018H for the TT and J for S3.
Sorry for the confusion.
