Hi, I love this tool but I have two problems on my ECU. Can anybody help please? ##1) When I set CWMDAPP=8 and riding WGDC using KFLDRAPP it does not give me full WGDC before 3k RPM. So its not possible to get correct boost data for tool input. See attachements 1 and 2. 2) I have almost done with PID tuning on my software but sometimes there is slightly "Actual Presure" and "MAF" drop after ActualBoost gets to the DesiredBoost. Is this PID problem or not? See attachements 3 and 4 Thank you very much. EDIT: ad 1.) Nevermind problem was inversed axes in KFLDRAPP map. So I defined wrong parametrs.

Ok.I help you.For log leave KFLDRL and KFLDIMX map oryginal values only change KFLDRAPP map. It is 8x8 map so change only 4 last row. Ex 70%, 80%, 90% and 100% PED values and set there in map percent of DC which you want (Ad you now 10% , 20%, 30% ....etc. ) and save all files as new ( dont overwrite). For LDRPID tool you need 9 files ( log 0% of DC too) and after that set KFLDIMX map as linear ( in 3D view straight line) and then put this one row (all are the same ) to LDRPID tool where is KFLDIMX map (and set axis as you has in your file) and set KFLDRL DC axis as you has in your file and then set RPM scale of main map (you can have other values ) and then load folder with your 9 files (logs) and click GENERATE. Then copy generated map to your tune (KFLDRL map) and flash tune to your car and make logs (don't forget about checksum before you flash your tune.
did not fully understand after 9 passes and creating a map in ldrpid made KFLDIMX linear what to do with KFLDRAPP and CWMDAPP Should they stay at stock values?

steps: your are switching into the application mode / applikationsmodus to do the actual pre-control wot runs and logs you create new kfldrl and switch the application mode back to off you do the fine tuning

Did someone try the pre-control-mod in a Euro 512k ecu before? Does not work for me. The WGDC jumps from 0 to 95. Diagram attached. Same mapping on 1M ecu works like a charm.
Greetings René

Hey, I need help with PID tuning. Currenty I am using pre-control from this thread and it works ok in static state, but I have problem with control while turbo spools. I tried a lot Q2 value, but with no succes... (big overshoot or undershoot). Could someone look at logs and give me hint how to tweak this?

have you tried to modify LDRL first? Is you DIMX flat?

Yes it's flat. I think I know where is the problem. I've made duty logs with vvt off at temp ~20Celsius. Now temp is about 0Celsius and vvt is on. Turbo spools faster now and for example at 2500rpm it can make over 1bar of boost.
So now I think I must do new duty logs at high gear (4 or 5) for low rpms and tweak KFLDRL...

Use KFLDRAPP to find the optimal boost and VVT switchpoint first. After that is done, set your VVT switchpoint like it should be.
Then make the logs with VVT behaving like it will be in the end. If you make the lin runs with VVT strictly off it won't work at all because the turbo spools much better with VVT on due to overlap.
Calibrating the boost pid is always the very last thing you do. You must have already have the correct boost level found that you are going to run, the correct VVT settings, fuel enrichment and timing. Simply use KFLDRAPP for that, and when everything is finished THEN it is time to tune the boost pid. It reacts heavily to changes in EGT and VE.
