I'm not trying to beg for anything, just looking for a general insight of where I should look.
I am looking for help with an Immo off. I plan to desolder the 95040 EEPROM and read/write to it with a TL866
Doing it for two cars, one is Immo2 other is Immo3

I have a general understanding of coding, but its been a few years.
I plan on simply turning off the Immo, what information should I gather and what tools would you suggest?

I've read the stickies, i know about changing hex and something about -1/-1, but I wanted to know if there was a specific place I should look on here for my specific case?

It's not too hard at all.  Read bin in car or on bench with 95040tool.  Adjust IMMO ON/OFF with ME7_95040.  Write back with bootmode.  Smiley

Takes around 5 minutes.

Well, i did attach the bin in my second post. So I have that.
Problem is that its a 04 instead of an 01/02

Im doing this the soldering way as I don't have the cables for benching atm. ECU is already out of car, ive already copied the bin. I tried soldering the 95040 back in (original) but car wont even start up.

I have just used the ME7_95040 tool on my .bin and it can't figure out the SKU or anything. I tested the program with a bin I found on here for a similar car (almost same ECU, different ending letter) and the ME7_95040 tool worked with reading that. Any idea why my bin looks so messed up?

Guess i'll just keep posting updates on things that I find in hopes that someone can enlighten me.

ECU is a 8N0906018T
Immo2

95040 tool doesnt seem to work with immo 2. My 12 and 22 are both 04 instead of what people are saying is 01(On)/02(Off)
It also can't read my SKC/Immo/Vin

Sooooo...
I'm going to go change that 04 into an 01 (-3) and correct my right side by adding +3

subtract 2 from 04 @ 12 and 22  and add 2 to the checksum @ 1e and 2e, reason there is an 04 instead of a 01 is that these ecus operate diffenently and only need communication with cluster to start, similart to the audi s4 with "no immobilizer"

I ended up fixing it with the -3/+3
This was an immo 2, so 01 is off and 04 is on.
