Hi

Had a tuner load up his file the other day too compare, when I try and read it using my mpps cable it reads 100% successful but the file is only 300K the original file was a 1meg file. Is that some sort of read protection?

open the file, il you find file is encrypted in ASCII the file have noread tag and MPPS don't read it .

What you need is a MPPS V5 patched file for your mops cable. You would find by google.

the file is not realy encrypted ..
the tuner have juste tag his file with the noread mark .
when MPPS read this mark, it save the kind of file you have .
mpps can technicaly  read your file, read a file with noread tag has just been disabled .

With KWP2000+ and ME7 software, it reads it completely.
Sometimes it needs to be bench-readed. Or a dashfuse
needs to be pulled.

Cheers,
