1.8T BAM VVT Delete
« on: June 12, 2017, 02:35:34 PM »
Hey guys, so im trying to disable VVT on a BAM ECU.
EDIT: In case anyone comes across this in future here is what you need to do for CB ecu.
CDNWS at 181AF and changed to 0.
KFNWSE at 173FB whole table set to 18.
ESKONF at 10BED: AA FF 00 30 FF FB 3C changed to AA FF 00 30 FF FB 3F
Copied KFZW to KFZW2 and KFZWOP to KFZWOP2.
For BH ecu KFNWSE is at 17311 and ESKONF is at 10BF4.

Would start with ESKONF and unplug VVT, then check which DTC is present.

Cdnws is located close to cdkat and the rest of the project configuration biys. Normally its a 3>0. Tip: most (almost all) me7.5 project configuration bits are in the same location....
To find eskonf search AA FF 00. Once you find it change your vew in ols. Each bit pair is defined on the s4 wiki (thanks nyet) Find a good defined file close to yours. I know without a doubt that theres a 225 widebamd mappack with more then youd ever need just need to look for it
