Author Topic: Trying to Clone ME9.1 for 2007 Q7 with BDM100, no communication  (Read 4268 times)

Hi guys,

I bought a spare ECU to not mess up my current one (Although the injector is not firing)

I am struggling with BDM100 to get communication, I Have tried all of my probes, different laptops, different orientation, read through both ME9 threads, and still nothing.

Most gloss over the actual reading part since it seems so simple, yet I am getting no where.

I also have Galletto and KTAG and can't read my spare ECU either. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I've been trying to clone this ECU for about a week now without any luck.

you should contact your original tool manufactures for support.

or stop buying china shit garbage clones.

Do you hear the relay on the BDM device when you start reading? If not then it might be a driver issue.

Is it the ecu? Is it the tool? Did you hook it up correctly? Does the ECU talk to vagcom?
I have so many questions, have you ever used bdm before? Can we get a pic of the setup?
I wont be as quick to say buy a real tool, but sometimes with the clones you have to be very
clever because they dont always work as advertised...

Try MPPS, im pretty sure it was  i used on a 07 Q7 before not sure if it reads both the flash and eeprom or just the flash, i just remember reading the ecu with MPPS, not sure if that helps friend.
