Hey Guys,

First off, this is my first post and I want to thank everyone for contributing to this awesome resource.  I've tuned several stand alone systems and am not new to tuning in general but ME7 tuning is brand new to me.  I've been reading the Wiki and this site for days now and am taking in as much knowledge as possible.  So, on to my question.

I am planning on tuning my friends 2000 S4 6 speed.  I plan to read the stock file off of it today however I am assuming that 99% sure it'll be an A-box.  Correct?  I have downloaded TunerPro, definition files for an A-box and a stock A-box ecu file just to familiarize myself with the layout.  Almost nothing even remotely comes close to the wiki (unless I'm doing something wrong).  I open up the M-box definitions and a stock M-box file and everything makes sense there.

Ok, so here's what I'd like to know:

1: Can I load M-box software to the originally A-box Ecu
2: If yes, I realize that the Maf will have to be changed to Bosch.  Settings? I found that scalar mlofs has to be set to 200.
3: Cluster recoding?
4: Am I going through this hassle for nothing and just have the wrong definition file?
5: Would anyone happen to have a bone stock 2000 S4 bin converted to m-box with Bosch MAF already?

Let me know if I am going at this all wrong.  It just seems like there's a lot more info on the M-box stuff so if converting over the A-box to M-box may be beneficial  (if this whole idea is possible).

Thank you very much in advance,

Nick

Thank you for your response.  I actually found this just a little while ago and already successfully flashed his car to M-box...sweet!

Now I'm just waiting to hear back from MTX about my plugin so I can start tuning.  I emailed them last night and haven't heard back yet...

Cool.  I'll open it up and take a look around.

Can someone point out how to use the compare feature in TunerPro?  I'd like to open your file Vs. the stock one just to compare the difference and see what kind of changes have been made.
