A LOT of completely wrong info in that pdf. If you wrote that and you are offering tunes to people, I'd be extremely wary accepting them. No one, who is remotely good at this is going to ever offer anything for free.

Case and point, information you need to know for remapping this ecu properly will take you a long time to learn, plus even if you manage to learn it all you probably will have a new car by then, so i can relate to that, as a person who profits off selling tunes, if i spent all that time learning and relearning me 7.5 information i would be broke, instead some business minded FLASH TUNERS, pay real good tuners for files, and make agreements to redistribute them for money, thats how i keep 100% ebay feedback, i have replaced many nef moto tuned ecus (i get cores back all the time) and tunes from many users on here that think they understand, if u need a free tune i will send u 50USD and the tune just to try it. how about that deal? then u can come back and tell the community what very high quality tune is like, you can be a simpleton and end up with better results then the best tunner on this site could provide you you just have to pay. I can send u one of these files, so i got to corrected you about the good and free part

That isn't even remotely a cogent excuse for what you are doing.

No my reasoning is out of frustration of the circle jerk some people turn the whole thing into, and if that PDF i posted, authored by someone who clearly understands the ecu, but even there knowledge is no good by some standard i guess, it makes it clear some user like to help and some just like to flaunt what they know. i will flaunt what i can share with new users who see it for what it is. Anyways not looking for a fight in every thread, i just want to provide new users with files, they can decide what they want to do. I respect everything this site stands for, but no ones going to bully me out of what i want to do

Doug (TTQS) wrote that guide years ago when he was teaching himself the basics, it's what the forum grew off

Yeah, it is a good effort, but there is a LOT of wrong info in there. The S4Wiki is probably more up to date, but even that has mistakes. As for correcting those mistakes - those of us who do this for a living usually can fluently read the FR, so there is no need for someone's "opinion" or "summary" on things, hence no motivation to fix them. Plus, this ME7 stuff is really old and completely irrelevant from a business perspective by now.

Then again, you probably would not be able to tell, since you know nothing
