Yes I read the eeprom myself  using the me7_95040.exe tool from this forum with the ecu in boot mode.
The ecu is 0261 206 887
Out of a GOLF 4
Can you help

i dont think that this bin contains a complete read of the eeprom.. it seems to be missing data.. correct me if im wrong..

(the actual immo-off setting is easy.. but flashing a corrupt file will get you nowhere..)

included is your file with the immo-off mod.. should it be correct, no guarantees.. =)

Looks right to me. Guessing this came from an IMMO2 car. I ready somewhere on here that IMMO2 eeprom doesn't contain VIN & other data like IMMO3 eeprom does. (afaik)

The modified file sn00k posted should work. Checksums are good. Login is 11500 doubt you'll need it tho.

dump is from a 2001 car so it could be immo 2.

Thanks Guys
it worked.

Now for the next question.
I don't want to keep all the emissions stuff in the mk1 and a expensive remap is out of the question at the mo, if i was to reed the main eeprom could some one disable the second oxygen sensor
evap canister etc, i don't want a remap just the emission stuff turned off.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP GUYES

I'm myself trying to fight the dreaded o2 sensor on ME7.5. At least right now I can't do it, because even with secondary o2 disabled you get soft limp mode. If anyone has some good advices then please tell.

you need to pull the flash file with a tool like the nefmoto software, then..

i zeroed out the following: CLAHSH, CLAHSHE, CDHSH, CDHSHE, CDKAT, CDLSH

after this, i calculated the checksums and flashed it back..

with the result that the system now runs as if no rear O2 sensor had ever existed.. i might have missed something, but this is how i did it myself, and it works great.

if you read the s4wiki i think there is more info on there how to eliminate the evap system..

I did it all, zeroed out codewords and also two error classes. DTC is not stored but I'm still hitting soft limp... And I know this because, when I disconnected my secondary o2 I also got soft limp in addition to two DTCs: P1114 and P1118 Smiley

Attached my current version

Just signed up to say thanks for this thread.  I'm currently gathering parts for 1.8t into MK1 Golf GTI swap.  My donor car is an Audi A3 (AUM and 7.5) and I'm hoping its directly comparable to this thread.  I've got lots more reading and no doubt questions but thanks for this info - it is much appreciated.
