Does anyone happen to have the proper MAF scaling values for the OEM RS4 Bosch MAF for an M-box?

***EDIT***

RS4 MLHFM values found here: http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=1301.msg12105#msg12105

I opened up an RS4 bin using the M-box XDF and it looks like the MLHFM on both files are in the same place.  It looks like it contains usable data.  What do you think?:

Stock Bosch vs. RS4:

Mlofs is 200 also.

Just need the KFKHFM values.  They must be in a different place because the map comes up all crazy.

Thank you Rick.

Just to be certain, you are referring to the RS4 MAF or the RS4 itself?  My car is an S4, with an RS4 MAF.  Not sure if there's even a difference but I want to make sure.

MLHFM corresponds to the RS4 MAF.
KFKHFM would correspond to the RS4 Airbox.

I think that was the point Rick was trying to make.

Are you running a Hitachi or Bosch sensor in the MAF housing.  This matters in subtle ways, depending on which you are using.

I am running the Bosch sensor in the RS4 housing. All oem RS4 components. RS4 Y pipe as well. All came with my APR stage 3.

I am running the RS4 upper air box and a stock S4 lower that has had the bottom cut off of it. Didn't want to cut up the RS4 one.

OK, well it sounds like it should be the map you found for MLHFM and all 1's for KFKHFM in addition to the MLOFS of 200 you have already.  That should be good enough to move forward to fuel tuning.

Would you please post an excel spreadsheet that has the S4 / RS4 MLHFM tables in them so we can all benefit from your explorations?

Thanks!

I've done many tunes with RS4 MAF.  It's the only one to use IMO.

Rick - Do you use the A-box Bosch sensor or the RS4 bosch sensor it comes with?  Does this even matter?

I use the complete RS4 housing and sensor, the sensor is different, you can't use the S4 Bosch sensor.

Not always. The hitachi MAF is more reliable, and getting it into a different housing isn't difficult.

The hitachi sensor is more reliable the the stock S4 Bosch sensor however the Bosch RS4 sensor is just as reliable as the hitachi (from what I understand). Used in Allroads, B6 and B7.

Does anyone have a MAF scaling for the Hitatchi in the RS4 housing?

Thank you for posting this!

In this Excel max value for S4 sensor in MLHFM table is 1407,3 kg/h while S4wiki states 1213,1 kg/h. Which value is correct?

http://s4wiki.com/wiki/MAF

I am looking for a HFM5 sensor that can support 1400 kg/h in 73mm housing. Can it be done with S4 OEM sensor or I need RS4 sensor in 73mm housing?

EDIT: ok, I got it, it's probably the 200 offset that makes the difference. Has anybody tried running RS4 sensor in 73mm housing?

As RS4 sensor is making 1793kg/h in 83mm housing it should make app. 1392 kg/h in 73mm housing. Has anybody tried it? Is there a calibration table for that combo?
