Really???

Me7.5 = 29f400 and 29f800
M3.8.X = 29f200

If you can do on 29f800 you can do on 29f400 too if that is what you need.

this version is actually me7.1. some very early dbw 4 cys where me7.1. you can open the case and view chip configuration for proof. just saying if we are going to correct someone should be the right info

Had plenty of times 29f400 from 1999 and 2000 TTs and S3s...Never ever saw one with the description on the sticker of Me7.1...In fact i have plenty of those next to me new and used thrown out by a dealership here in Germany.Even so it can be done with the script here. Just for info do you have any pic of "me7.1" from 1.8t with 29f400? i would be interested to see one or the pcb. Btw the correction is on the memory sizes hence "29f200"... Names can be Names.

That is a mistake on the ecufix... Ecu is ME7.5 10000000000000%

You can also find ecus that are not writing anything but they are still me7.5

As far as i know there is no named me7.1 ecu on a 1.8t car.I have this car at my shop right now(wifes car).

I'm not sure if this helps but if you can use the auto add script and reset ftomn to 01 instead of 00 it will work. It seems bolt down coils and 12v vr6 cars prefer this dwell time
