I recently bought a abox ecu with a MTM tune in it stage 1 from what I am told. I desoldered the chip however it looks to be a 29F800TA rather than the 29F800BB or BT.My GQ-4X programmer does not list this chip under supported devices.Anyone have any ideas how I can read this chip??I have a read from this chip before desoldering which was done on the bench,it's been posted and a couple of people have said the read is no good. But in comparison to what the values i am getting now its eems as the old read had the right values in the right place.any tell me what they use to check if the file is any good??Other than cmd.exe based programs that have been posted??

do you have this kind of thing in your ECU ?

I recently read an MTM s3 with my genuins MPPS and it read it correctly even if this crypter was soldered .
but it can't write to the ecu, so i replaced this crypter by a brand new 29f800BB .

If you really wanted a good read, you'd have been better off reading it in boot mode THROUGH the decryption board. If you desoldered it and read it, odds are, whatever you got is garbage.

In any case,  I cant' think of a single good reason to EVER read out somebody else's tune.

DIY or don't bother.

I hear ya  only reason why i desoldered was because the ecu is burnt up and i wasnt able to get it into boot mode or communicate with it.
