Yeah i know. Grin Grin Grin

I didn't tried this forum before because i though it was mainly me7 and 9 which in my country people don't use.

But now i've seen that members have all kinds of tunes and helps.

Also when i saw this forum i thought for my self, "no one is gonna accept me since i can't help in that ecus".

You can check in ecuconnections that i'm a member for a long time and try to help people.
I'm used to edc15 tunes.

If anyone needs help in that just pm me or email: hugoreispt1@gmail.com

Hello,

It's a switch that can change from codeblock 1 to 2 or 3 with a combination of pedals or cruise control or other buttons.

This is in edc15 which has 3 codeblocks, manual, automatic or 4x4.

Basically it lets you change from this 3 codeblocks and it's useful for you to put in car to have for example: a economy map, a normal map and a tuned map for power.

Age old beginner needs that have no place in the real world.
Your economy and your power map are all the same. You are tuning a digital ECU, not a carburetor for christs sakes.

Yup.  My 360~bhp 1.8t will do 35mpg to work (8 miles of 60mph), 44mpg on the motorway, 30's around town.  Drives absolutely stock around town, no aggressiveness until you're WOT.  The way it should be.

PRJ

i get your point, but i want to have a stock map, a power map, and a high power map.

The high power is for 1 race or something like that.

As i don't want to use that as a daily drive.

My current map doing 8l/100km, and my stock map does 5,5/100km.

For example for me to go to work the stock map works, but when i go to meetings i would like a little more power, and sometimes meetings are 500km away from me.

With a tune that is correctly calibrated, there is no need for this.   Power is controlled with your foot via the accelerator pedal.

I know all that.

But you can't control boost for example, and other things.

Of course you can. Don't push pedal to the floor = not max boost. Simple.
There are many valid reasons for map switching, but you have not listed a single one of them.

I think i did.

My car is already a project going on.

I've changed the turbo, added fmic, changed exhaust system, intake.
Planning to put bigger injectors and cam.

And it's faster and easier for me to do 3 remaps and test them 3 then doing 1 by 1.
Also i'm afraid with some changed i'm gonna make and i can change the map to just for example 10km of hard tune and then tune to do the rest i need to go home, in case the engine gets too hot or something like that.

I know i'm asking you all a lot.

Thanks anyway

I suggest making 3 different sizes of wooden block that you place under your accelerator pedal. Use the biggest economy block for daily driving and then swap to the race block for the track, sorted.

Maybe he's done the accelerator switch upgrade, where it's only on or off?

THANAS,

Thanks for your advice, maybe your ecu will do the job better then wooden blocks. The function of the both are the same, NONE and none properly programmed.

Adam

No I didn't decalibrated the driver wish and other maps of acellerator sensor.
I just need some help because it's a feature good for my car for my reasons.

Besides that for all people, i've said i would pay for that. I didn't ask for freebie.
If you could help me understand that's good, if not i will pay.
