I tried to  rescale an UK Instrument cluster to  300km/h scale  like the rs4  but  I get the DEF error.  I need help from someone  to correct the checksum .

go to recode and click do it, when you click do it it updates cks should be ok

Marty it doesn't work with audi 920 clusters.

Having been through this once on an S4 cluster, you may need to desolder the eeprom and flash it with a programmer, or in-circuit flash it with a clip.

nyet the problem is diffrent value of checksum in rs4 speedo map , it's diffrent than in UK or Euro cluster. I have made 2 clusters with rs4 or rs6 scales using PCB froma normal B5 cluster.

Maniacuv6 where are you from? Post photo what type of scale you want to use.

Is the attached dump original or modified?

the speedo scale is already done based on a RS4 file. All I need is the checksum to be right.
In 20 miuntes I'll post a pic of speedo .
