Hello,
I assume this is 100% ok, but I want to make sure before I waste my time.
Can I flash my ECU as follows without any issues:

FROM original 8E0909518AK HW#0261208230 SN#368072 VAGSW#0003 HW_MAN004 (EPK = 40/1/ME7.5/5/4012.31//24E/Dst03o/110403//)

TO this variant 8E0909518AK HW#0261208230 SN#369307 VAGSW#0004 HW_MAN004 (EPK = 40/1/ME7.5/5/4012.31//24H/Dst04o/010903//)

Also while I'm asking this question, what other types can I flash successfully? For example, can I also flash other identical hardware such as 8E09059518AF or would this fail? Is there anything besides the bootrom version 6.02 that I should be looking at?

Yes you can flash.All your doing is going from software version 0030 to 0040.I did this recently on my ecu.

Thanks. I figured it was no big deal. Do you know if I would be able to flash from 518AK to 518AL or other similar A* ECUs?

Not sure.It all depends on the boot rom it needs to be the same iirc.Also I know for a fact that AF and AK can be reflashed to a BC which has the 6speed software.

Al AK and BC are all cross flashable.
They are 2003 2004 and 2005.

The 2002 F and G are not flashable to any of the ECU's listed above. Different Bootloader.
