Well, I've learned a lot from this forum, so I wanted to give a little back to you guys.

I've been working on the file for my B7 A4 since I bought the car. I have an A2L for a different box code and have used that to build the definition for my own file. This IDA file has over 11000 items named and commented (tables, axes, codewords, RAM, etc.). I also put all comments in english (via Google translate).

You will need IDA 6.95 or greater to open it. Enjoy Smiley

Thank you! I am a computer technician but I'm not fluent in coding.. I just downloaded IDA and I'm going to try and figure this whole thing out.. But what I don't understand is what do I do with the file once I've installed IDA? I have winOLS.. Do I install IDA then open up my original 8E0910115P .bin as a new project in winOLS then load your idb file as a definition/map pack in winOLS? I'll open up the file using IDA 7.0 and then see if the process explains itself..

Regardless I appreciate it a lot,. This is going to really help me out. I just sold my mk4 jetta so i could upgrade and I had my heart set on a b7 a4. I got an 07 quattro. my ecu matches this file Cheesy

Ohhhhh.. I get it, So I open IDA and look for the map names that I wish to tune in the side menu off to the left (I am using IDA 7.0 Full Version).. Then it highlights the addresses for that map so that I can then compile a definition using the tuning application of my choice?

I think thats what is going on here? lol..

I'll work with it! thanks mate!! endless +1 for you!
