i purchased a used daz dillinger stage 2 ecu
 great... well almost
boost awesome
40mph plus feels awesome and fast but
no 1st gear and no 5th gear at all

can i plug that ecu in and change the trans code?
maybe the ecu came off a manual and not auto
is there anything i can do (please dont say swap my car to manual haha)
i do have the cable and software to tune the ecu. any help appriciate it!!

Youre boned. Manual apb cant be recoded auto to manual /manual to auto. This is a diy site anyhow.

ok , yes ive been going through all the posts trying to see if i can reprogram it.o well.
i am slowly learning to tune the ecu i have in there.  thank you for your response wont neeed to spend countless hours trying to figure it out.
soft coding the trans didnt work but i attempted

Why don't you compare the stage 2 ECU to a stock ecu with the same code.
Then apply the changes that were made to it, to your original ECU.
